Linda Groeber

Linda Groeber passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease and the long-term effects of cancer. She was surrounded by the love of her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Rich Groeber, and her parents, Dolores and George Martini. She was also deeply loved by her sister, Dee, who sadly passed away just nine days after Linda.

Linda lived life with energy and enthusiasm. She was always on the go, planning her next trip, vacation, or day adventure. Her fun-loving spirit, laughter, and silly personality brought joy to everyone around her.

She was the beloved mother of Megan Gotta (Keith) and Becky Kubis (Don). Linda also formed many deep and meaningful friendships throughout her life, and many of her closest friends became honorary aunts and uncles to her children. She shared an especially close bond with her two best friends and honorary sisters, Mary Daniels and Kim Stull. Through thick and thin, Mary and Kim stood faithfully by Linda’s side.

Linda was a fighter. Diagnosed with cancer in 1998, she faced a battle that could have easily taken her life. Through her determination, strength, and stubborn spirit, she fought bravely and went on to live another 28 years.

While she was a devoted mother, one of Linda’s greatest joys was being “Gigi.” She adored her grandchildren—Chase, Hayden, Brooke, Carter, and Jackson—and cherished every moment spent with them. From vacations and day trips to babysitting and everyday visits, she was a constant and loving presence in their lives and loved nothing more than spoiling them.

Linda was able to return home in her final days and passed surrounded by her loving daughters, Megan and Becky, and her honorary daughter, Tina, by her side.

She will be deeply missed by the many family members and friends whose lives she touched. Her laughter, resilience, strength, and joyful spirit will never be forgotten. Though she is gone, the love she gave so freely will live on in the family she cherished and the countless memories she created with those who loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Sunday, March 22, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Phoenix Sport Club, 301 W. Bristol Road, Trevose, PA 19053.

A private, invitation-only memorial service and luncheon will follow at 2:00 PM.
