Allen Edward Kensil Sr.

Allen Edward Kensil Sr., of Langhorne, PA, passed away peacefully at the age of 85.

Allen was the beloved husband of Susan Kensil and a devoted father to the late Sandra Kensil, Deneane Malageri, Andrea Lynd, Allen Kensil Jr., Edward Rios (Silena), Susan Smith (Chas), and the late Daniel Patrick Kensil. He was a proud grandfather to many grandchildren and a cherished uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Allen grew up with three brothers and two sisters, and is survived by his brother Donald Kensil (Alida).

At the age of 17, Allen joined the United States Navy and served for four years aboard the USS Decatur, traveling throughout Europe. After his honorable service, he returned home and began a long and successful career in plumbing. He took over the family business, Charles E. Kensil & Son Plumbing and Heating, and grew it into a well-respected company that served the community for over 50 years. Allen was adored by many of his customers, many of whom became lifelong friends.

A proud veteran, Allen was also a longtime member of the Catholic War Veterans. For many years, Allen found great joy spending time at his shore home in Villas, NJ, surrounded by friends and family. He enjoyed working on his large koi pond, taking care of his lawn, taking scenic car rides, and he was an avid reader. He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, strong work ethic, and the deep love he had for his family and friends.
He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
