Walter William Teesdale, Jr. (Age 63) of Philadelphia passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
Walter grew up in the Feltonville area of Philadelphia and graduated from Cardinal
Dougherty High School in 1980. Walter continued on with his education at Stockon State College for Marine Biology. Then to Seattle Washington where he became a certified Saturation Diver and wanted to become the next Jacques Cousteau.
Later he came home to start work at the Internal Revenue Service where he retired in 2020. Walter was kind and generous to everyone he knew and was the life of the party. Walter loved spending time with his family, especially his wife and twin daughters, whom he was extremely proud of. He also loved the Philadelphia Eagles.
Walter is survived by his mother Nancy (Brower) Teesdale, of Huntingdon Valley, PA. He was the beloved husband of Karen (Nadin) Teesdale (Philadelphia), and twin daughters Jemma (Philadelphia) and Raeanne (Pittsburgh) Teesdale. And brother to Anna Kershes (Matthew), of Quakertown, PA, Katie McMahon (Gary), of Norwich, CT, David Teesdale of Key West, FL and Tracy Teesdale of Pennsburg, PA.
Walter was proceeded in death by his father Walter Wm. Teesdale, his Uncle, William Brower, sister-in-law, Kim Teesdale and nephew David
Teesdale.
At Walter’s request there will be no services and the family is honoring his final wishes.
