On Monday, July 31, 2023, Lillian Lucy Silvan, daughter, sister and friend, passed away in Philadelphia, at the age of 78. Lillian was the daughter of Leon Walter Silvan, Sr. and Lucy (Coppolella) Silvan. Memorial services were held privately. Lill is survived by her sister (Linda), nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Lill was an honor student, graduating Little Flower High School, the University of Pennsylvania and then Temple University, receiving a Master’s degree in Psychology.
She spent many school hours in the Drama and Debate Clubs and played trumpet in the school band. She also enjoyed playing piano and guitar and won several collegiate tennis trophies. Lill was a proficient and prolific writer for various magazines and successfully hosted numerous TV and radio shows over the years. She was an accomplished gardener and joyfully spent many hours thriving in her splendid, green yard. As an expert, Lillian received several awards from the Horticultural Society for representing the highest standards of the art and practice of gardening.
Lillian was talented, had a wonderful sense of humor, and a big heart. She will be remembered with great love by all who knew her.
