Let us remember the life of a beautiful and amazing woman. A woman of faith, a woman of love and of kindness.

Frances DiGiacomo, known to most as “Nan”, a wife, a mother to six children, a grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was dearly loved by all. Nan is the embodiment of strength. She cared for her family, friends and neighbors and taught us all so much! To think of words to best describe her, she was loving, nurturing, selfless, generous and compassionate. She would give you the shirt off her back without expecting anything in return. When you left her house, you left with a “care package”.

She would often share stories of her childhood. She loved her parents and siblings very much. Her mother passed away when she was young so she took on the role of caring for her siblings while her dad worked.

She was a hard worker and gave her dad credit for that trait. She worked 2 to 3 jobs at a time and worked well into her 80s. She was a very independent woman.

For enjoyment, Nan loved the casino and playing her numbers. She would get all dolled up to catch the bus to Atlantic City with Pop. They looked forward to going and they deserved a the break.

Nan was a woman of faith. She loved attending church and doing her rosaries. Whenever you would see her, rest assured a rosary was pinned to her shirt, if not in her hand.

Nan lived a beautiful long life and will be deeply missed.
